Abbas Ramadan M.A.

at the junior research group “Perspectives of Religious Diversity in Islamic Theology”

Abbas Ramadan, born in Berlin in 1994, completed his bachelor’s degree in History and Cultures of the Middle East with a concentration in Arabic Studies and his master’s in the program of the same name, with a concentration in Islamic studies at the Freie Universität Berlin. Since September 2020, Ramadan has been a doctoral candidate at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and a research associate at the Berlin Institute for Islamic Theology (BIT). The research focus of his dissertation is on the Muslim scholar Said Nursi and his work Risale-i Nur.
